Panavision Virtual Training

This presentation is designed to create awareness of, and answer questions about, the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant.  We discuss some brief points of Panavision history which led to the creation of the grant, as well as some of the details of the grant and application process – including common questions and pitfalls.  This presentation is often done as an introduction before one of the following.

Created by the Panavision Special Optics Department, this presentation discusses the artistry, science, and technology involved both in the field of optics generally, and in Panavision optics specifically.  We give an overview of the various lenses we offer, and discuss their unique characteristics, in order to demonstrate how optics can be used to help accomplish the artistic and technical goals of a given film.
